The Old School Bunkhouse

Lovely stay at The Old School Bunkhouse, booked as a group of Friends with children. The Bunkhouse was lovely and warm, facilities great and location perfect for what we needed. Only suggestion is perhaps some plastic drinking cups for the kids but apart from that perfect all round.

A perfect place for a family gathering last week, this bunk house is perfectly located for anyone who wants to walk, relax or just enjoy the beauty of this stunning part of the world. Situated between Whernside and Ingleborough, the bunk house is spacious, clean and well equipped. The beds are comfortable, the sofas comfy and the kitchen table a huge focal point for all the family to be around. Debbie the owner was really helpful and easy to communicate with and quick to sort out a minor problem with a light switch. Plus the parking was excellent! Highly recommended- we will be back!

An absolute gem in regards to accommodation, location, facilities, cleanliness and support, all first class. If there is one area that could be improved, it would be the outside space. We have been using the OSB for over 10 years happily but if there could be an area outside for people to relax/engage after daily activities, I would give you 10*'s. We usually take approx 10 - 15 potential Army cadets (14 - 18 yr olds) and if they had an area where they could take part in sports etc this would be perfect in every sense.

Stayed here as a base for the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. Perfectly located on the route, close to Ingleton where we got a great meal at Peaks & Trioughs and brilliant facilities in the bunkhouse - cooking a massive post hike meal and breakfast

Absolutely brilliant location and facilities at this bunkhouse. Probably best bunkhouse I've stayed at. Great location for doing 3 peaks and a pub 100 yards away. Place was clean and had everything you need. I left my sunglasses behind but the hosts found them and posted them back. Really appreciated that as they were expensive.
