Win 2 Tickets to see Lloyd Griffith: One Tonne of Fun in Yorkshire
After Lloyd’s last tour was interrupted by ‘you know what’ and ended up lasting 8 years or so, he’s BACK with a brand-new fresh stand-up tour show for 2023. This is Lloyd’s biggest tour to date and he is pumped/really needs you to come. Since school, Lloyd has always been a show off, doing anything he can to make people laugh, and 20 odd years later, nothing’s changed. There’ll be his unique bag of stand up, dubious impressions, and obviously a sprinkling of his (incredible) singing. Lloyd Griffith is: One Tonne of Fun
As seen on Ted Lasso, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Soccer AM, Comedy Central at The Comedy Store, Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club, Can You Beat The Bookies, Roast Battle, Question of Sport, Not Going Out, House of Games and loads of other stuff. Jack Whitehall’s Arena tour support.
Lloyd will be appearing several new shows in early 2023. Firstly, the new series of Bad Education for BBC Three.
He’ll also be seen in hotly anticipated drama series Nolly, for ITV Studios, about the famous soap opera Crossroads, playing the part of Paul Henry – the actor who portrayed the popular role of Benny in the series. Starring Helena Bonham Carter, the mini-series was written by Russell T Davies, directed by Peter Hoar (It’s A Sin) and executive-produced by Nicola Schindler.
Lloyd is also set to appear in the upcoming Channel 4 comedy Everyone Else Burns, produced by JAX Media and Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group. Warm, full of heart and, above all, funny, Everyone Else Burns follows a hyper-religious family navigating their way through the modern world whilst avoiding eternal damnation.
He has just launched new comedy podcast Fit & Proper, with fellow comedian Rhys James, where they invite a famous guest to take over a football club and rebuild it however they like, from changing the kit and the mascot to insisting all the players have a moustache for no reason.
Lloyd also co-hosted Soccer AM for Sky with John ‘Fenners’ Fendley and Jimmy Bullard, and co-hosted Netflix comedy-entertainment show Flinch with Seann Walsh and Desiree Burch. He also fronted documentary Can You Beat The Bookies?, in which explored the gambling industry.
You will have also seen Lloyd in series 1 and 2 of Ted Lasso, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Comedy Central at The Comedy Store, Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club, Roast Battle, Question of Sport, Not Going Out, Richard Osman’s House of Games, and loads of other stuff. He was also Jack Whitehall’s arena tour support.
