Cotter Force

Fantastic way to see the Falls for those with anybody with accessibility needs. Easy parking & then a proper path alongside the brook with regular resting benches leading to the main event, which is absolutely stunning!

If you're looking for a beautiful, easily accessible waterfall that doesn't require a long hike, Cotter Force is an absolute must-visit. Tucked away in a peaceful woodland setting, this charming waterfall is a true hidden gem and the perfect reward for just a 15-minute walk.

A short 10 minute walk along the river brings you to this lovely, peaceful waterfall and you really can appreciate the peace and quiet along with the lovely fresh air! Well worth stopping off for a look if passing by that way on your travels, theres also a small pub a few minutes away which we were told is a lovely location for a pint but we never had the time unfortunately.

A little, quite out the way Yorkshire gem. Fancy a cool dip on a hot day or just a nice place to sit and rest listening to the water cascade into the pool at the bottom of the falls, then this is the place for you. Just off the A684. A small layby on the A684 will take about 6 vehicle's perhaps . Wheelchair access all the way to the falls.

The atmosphere here is incredibly relaxing, and it's a truly a great escape. The water is perfect. Place for a refreshing swim. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind.
