I paid £15 for used Simom and Garfunlel Greatest Hits record..The average price on Discogs is £4. Whilst there was no price on it, I expected to pay £10 maximum. The owner deliberately overcharged me because I was a woman, who he thought didn't know any better! It was an early gift for my husband as this gs have been tough for him lately. I like supporting small independent businesses and it a shame I got this experience today from 1.
Twice I've been to Haworth now, both times I've popped in this shop and treated myself to some old vinyl. 2LPs and 4 singles bought for £20 this time. I think I would go as far as saying that this is my favourite shop on the main Street.
Brilliant shop when it's open. Maybe open only at the weekends or something because I've been here in the advertised office hours twice recently and it's been shut with no notes or anything about when to return or when it'll be open. Highly frustrating and disappointing
