We had a great night hosting our engagement party here. Great atmosphere with amazing and helpful staff. Free to use private area upstairs with refundable deposit.
Not been for a long time so was great to go back. Was afternoon when we went so relatively quite but still a good vibe. Great seating areas to relax, and a really good range of beers and spirits available to choose from. Cash machine located next door too, not that cash is needed much nowadays. Would like to go back in the evening sometime but definitely still one of the better bar options in the town centre
Arrived to this place after the races, had only just come out in to Doncaster, no one did anything wrong, jumped up bouncer decided to not let us in, when we asked why, he got aggressive and said we dont have to give you a reason, then followed us to the next place and told them not to let us in there either. Shocking.
Went in last Saturday, usually enjoy it there but this time there was a guy with a high end TV camera (obviously working within the club or been contracted in to work there) made him perfectly aware that we did not want to be filmed, yet he still kept pointing the thing at us. Felt very uncomfortable, never going g again
Despite the upstairs of the venue being booked for a friend's engagement party... The floor was sticky with spilt alcohol, I assume from the previous night. None of the pumps were working on the upstairs bar, forcing people to use the downstairs bar. Can't fault the bar staff themselves as they did the best they could with the situation. But to anyone looking for a party venue I can only recommend you look elsewhere.
