I think it is just one of the oldest pubs in Doncaster right in the heart of the city and market place. Lovely atmosphere and the loos are downstairs! They offer different beers. I'm not sure if food is served. There are a few tables outside, lovely in the warmer weather. There is not a ramp for wheelchair users that I have seen there is a small step as you go in . All in all a good watering hole lol
A wet led pub at the top of its game with the choice of both craft and cask. A superb juke box blasting out alternative hits Friday lunchtime merely makes you want to stay for more excellent beer.
Came here with my Dancing Queen Madge. Four pit stops in 50 metres. Almost walked by before Madge told me it is in the CAMRA 2023 Goid Beer Guide. Found a new brewery so took a Docks brewery 3.9% pale ale. Not really a place for old gits like me..young..dark and on trend..but fine on a quiet Saturday afternoon in August. Some outside seating saved Madge from some loud and strange music..young rainbow'ish noise. What happened to Motown!
My favourite pub in Doncaster, fab staff/owner, live music, great choice of beers, What's not to like?
Was looking for somewhere chilled, with a good atmosphere on a Saturday night(bank holiday weekend). It didn't disappoint. Really friendly staff, good vibes and fantastic selection of craft beer! Great blues band playing too! Thanks 😀 (didn't have food, on a liquid diet 😉)
