For this May Half Term, join us at Tinsley Marina, a beautiful marina in Tinsley, Sheffield. This historic canal is 203 years old. The canal was built like todays city roads, to transport goods all the way to London and beyond (before trains, and certainly lorries, existed).
Tinsley marina is a beautiful green area in our city surrounded by colourful narrowboats and nature.
This activity is a family friendly activity suitable for all ages with an interest in our canals, boats, locks and how they work. We will have a range of practical activities and demonstrations suited for all the family.
