Francesca Massey makes her first visit to play at the Town Hall. Celebrating Franck’s bi-centenary, the arresting Pièce héroïque and declamatory Final book-end the recital, around Whitlock’s solemn Fantasie Choral and Roger-Ducasse’s dramatic showpiece Pastorale, his only piece for the organ.
