Put on your wellies or walking boots and join Canal & River Trust on a family wildlife hunt at Castleford Lock and see what amazing wildlife you can spot along our beautiful network of canals – wildlife identification sheets/booklets provided.

Location – Please meet us at Castleford Lock (what three words: ///battle.copies.rams) just off Barnsdale Road.
Buses: 163 Sapphire , 168 Sapphire and 175 bus routes will take you to bus stops nearby
Train: Castleford station is approximately a 20 minute walk to Castleford Lock
