Zest Charging Station

Tesla model Y, worked great for us. Very quick and conveniently located. Pricey compared to superchargers but no hidden costs which is nice. I will say, the charger said it added 31kw but the car said it received 26kw.... Hmm

An EV charger that doesn't cost the earth is rare. So nice to charge away from home and not get ripped off with extortionate prices. Only downside is it's a fair walk back to the habour/town for a coffee or mooch about to fill the hour and half it took to fully charge my EV. Also only one bay so if it's in use you've a long wait to plug in. That said It is a no fuss charger that was very simple to use with tap n pay. No silly account's to set up or apps to download. Next time I'm in Whitby I know where to go now to charge up.

First time I've had a bad experience with a charger. Tried charging through the electroverse app. It kept failing and asking me to swipe my card to authorise. Did this, it took £40 but still reported failure , then eventually started charging. I came back after an an hour to find it added 9 miles range at less than 1kwh. Useless!

Not really space for 2 charging cars at the same time. Using electroverse and failed to start. Have used Zest chargers elsewhere so not sure what the issue was.

Really fast, but a real tight squeeze....don't think those parking in the area appreciate having an EV charger there...however I did...chargers appear to be a rarity in Whitby..I like Zest.
