A friendly bar with a great atmosphere. Select beers, wine and delicious cocktails. Several TVs to access sporting events. Special events held regularly. Family owned. Dog friendly. Children welcome
Dropped in for a quick drink. Very small bar and seating area. Soon gets overcrowded. Surprised to find another seating area upstairs, but again very small. Not much of an atmosphere at the time we visited. Don't supply draft bitter.πΊ
Brilliant bar, live sports and a friendly atmosphere.
I'm in my 30s, and they play all the music I listened to in secondary school (pop-punk, grunge, and brit-pop classics abound). The atmosphere is great, and the staff are lovely. The beer selection is excellent and updates frequently. There's a small cocktail selection, and they easily do the best Old Fashioned in the North.
Great bar with really friendly service and an awesome selection of craft beers. Perhaps a little pricier but it totally makes sense for the wee size of the place. I wouldn't recommend turning up with a large party as the bar seating area would be unlikely to accommodate you sitting together, but I have been as a group of 4 a few times now, and I understand there is a small room upstairs you can book for a larger party. Great atmosphere each time we've been. We live locally and look forward to being frequent customers.
