Booked the whole property for NYE, booking confirmation clearly stated this. Received phone call from the owner stating that I had 'only booked one room for four people' and they wanted double the money for us to be able to stay there. Laughable really, as their listing only allowed you to book the whole place out, not by the room. Contacted Booking.com support (who were useless) and the booking was eventually cancelled for free but with no suitable alternative given. I imagine it will be relisted at a higher price. Inconceivable greed to try to exploit people celebrating during the holidays, avoid at all costs!
