Fantastic traditional pub/hotel in Robin Hood Bay. A good selection of real ales. Something to please most people. Food in the evening is very well cooked, tasty and at a reasonable price. The included breakfast definitely is the best I have had in a long time. Excellent quality bacon and sausage, cereal, fruit juice, fresh fruit, toast, hot drinks. All cooked fresh to order. The staff are all welcoming. The hotel has some very good offers on if booked direct through their website, for winter, mid-week stays. Parking is free across the road till the end of march. Fantastic find for a winter mid-week break.
We have loved staying at The Grosvenor. We had a fabulous room with a view of the church and countryside. The staff are fabulous; so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. Dinner has lots of wonderful choices. And Robin Hood's Bay? Such a cute and quaint place to explore. Our winter visit was fabulous.
Yes very pleased. The rooms were beautifully furnished & clean. The only problem was the shower. It was just a dribble. Certainly not a shower. Breakfast was excellent. We also had a bite to eat on our first night & the steak pie was delicious & homemade. We did compliment them on the steak pie. Parking is a problem. It is in the car park opposite. Yes it does get very full & have to keep going round & round.
We went here for a family meal. 12 of us aged from 70 to 10. The food was absolutely excellent. I had chilli which was superb. I was going for steak pie, other family members had this and it was also superb. Clean plates all round. Will certainly call again.
Wow! Enjoyed the most amazing home made steak pie in the restaurant...served with proper chips, veg and lashings of gravy π hits the spot after 15 miles of coastal walking! Wine at Β£16 a bottle was an added bonus...thank you team!
