|Dean Clough, a vibrant 22-acre mixed-use destination in Halifax, has once again been chosen as the main production base for the popular TV show High Hoops. This marks the second time the award-winning comedy, which features well-known actors Robert Webb and Isy Suttie, has set up operations at Dean Clough. The filming for the third series is set to begin next month, and excitement is building in the local community.
High Hoops Returns
The production company, Can Can Productions, has secured a temporary lease for 5,000 square feet of space at Dean Clough. This area will be used for storage, costumes, and set production. The Head of Production at Can Can Productions, Thea Burrows, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming filming, stating, “We are thrilled to start filming a third series for High Hoops which has been hugely successful. Dean Clough provides an ideal base for production since our set film locations, such as Calderdale College, are so close by.”

It adds additional vibrancy and excitement to the community here.” This partnership not only brings film production to Halifax but also fosters local engagement and interest in the arts.
