Halifax was alive with excitement on Sunday night as a packed crowd gathered to see the renowned singer-songwriter David Gray perform at the TK Maxx presents Live at The Piece Hall event. This concert was part of his Past & Present World Tour, showcasing his incredible talent and celebrating over thirty years of music.

Set against the stunning backdrop of The Piece Hall's historic courtyard, Gray delivered a powerful show that spanned his extensive career. His setlist was a delightful mix of classic hits and fan favourites. Some of the songs that got the audience singing along included The One I Love, My Oh My, Be Mine, White Ladder, You’re The World To Me, and This Year’s Love.

The atmosphere was electric, with fans fully engaged and enjoying every second. Gray closed the night with a breathtaking performance of Sail Away, leaving the audience wanting more.

Frontman Neil Hannon entertained the crowd with a light-hearted joke, saying, “What a night you are in for; us, then David Gray being awesome, and then staying up to see England beaten by Mexico. I don't want it to happen, I just want you to be prepared…” This playful banter helped to create a warm and inviting atmosphere as fans settled in for a night of great music.
