Amazing experience, stayed here for a night and cant find a single flaw. The owner is very welcoming and friendly. I was upgraded to a room with a lovely view. The room was spotless clean, cozy and smelt really nice. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Halifax.the room comes with everything you need and even a mini fridge with all the essentials.
Needing a nice place to stay while we attended a family event locally we opted for a couple of nights to make it a little bit of a mini break as well and really weren't disapointed by our choice of accomodation. the building clearly has a lot of history to it but has been respectfully modernisied to give all the currently desired comforts with pleanty of old world charm. The breakfast was very nice while i was a little unadventourus slecting the cooked breakfast two days in a row that was simply because it was so nice the first time around. that said seeing some of the other options coming out no matter what you choose you are not going to be disapointed.
A fabulous nights stay in this stunning place. Hosts unbelievably warm and friendly to the point of upgrading our room as a birthday gift from them to my husband. Comfortable and tastefully decorated historic home. Superb views and to complete the stay one of the best full English breakfasts we have had. Our compliments to Philip and Adele we would love to stay again in your beautiful home x
What a lovely place to stay very relaxing weekend we stayed in the Hideaway was very clean and comfortable bed the breakfast was fabulous and tasty the Host's we're very welcoming and we will certainly be staying with them again on our next visit to Halifax thanks again Martyn and Elaine.
My sister treated me to an overnight B&B stay here for my birthday this week. It was a fabulous experience. We stayed in room 1. It is beautiful, elegant, sumptuous, with all the amenities you could possibly want, and, to top it off, glorious views across the valley to Shibden Hall. The breakfast next morning was delicious. Adele and Phil are wonderful hosts, very friendly, and really welcoming. We would highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed.
