Had drinks here fab little bar with friendly host, talked me into a aperol spritz which I have not had before... seriously even host couldn't believe it! This is a fab street of eating and bars and each place has its own atmosphere but I love this place.
Watch out! Short measure and then a row about it. The premises cocktail menu specifies four ingredients in the Negroni, one of which is the usual vermouth. I asked the server to confirm that the vermouth had been omitted at which the more senior member of staff became very bossy and stated that their version was minus the vermouth even though it was on the menu and it’s a standard ingredient for a Negroni. She resisted adding the vermouth until I cited trading standards and the licensing act. It was disgraceful.
The bar itself was really nicely done up. Excellent wine, excellent cocktails, really friendly staff. An all round great experience. We ended up here twice in the 3 days we were there and will absolutely be going back next time we visit Harrogate.
Cosy bar with indoor seating on the ground floor and upstairs. It was busy on a Saturday night and buzzing. Very friendly staff and owner. We tried his twist on an Old Fashioned cocktail - one with bourbon and one with rum. The rum one was great. They offered to make any cocktails that you want. Would definitely recommend trying this place.
