Shopping experience is great but the lack of mother and child spots makes a trip here difficult. I have twins and while I'm impressed that they have so many disabled spaces there's not ONE mother and child spot to be found - not sure how I'm meant to get my two newborns out of the car without smacking the cars next to me, especially since the parking spaces don't exactly leave a lot of room to open our doors to get the kids out.

Such a useful retail park, plenty of space, Opposite a great Barker and Stonehouse ( with nice cafe restaurant). It's also around a host of varied major car showrooms and a kwik fit ( i had a flat when shopping lol, they were very good!), there's a costa in the Next, a TK max, clothes and home, a big boots with pharmacy,a good matterlan too, and a McDonald's with drive thru.. but most useful in my opinion..a big M & S food hall, with disabled parking straight outside if needed. It's also only a short 20 minute walk to beautiful Knaresborough lake and cafe, by the mobile cabin homes complex ... just head down the road you enter in, right as you exit, for 5mins and there's a woody track road to your left, going along the river, a short walk down there you'll come to grass, benches and the lake, a cute cafe too. Certainly in summer ppl and children swim in there. Above this you'll see the cabins park. Overall a very handy pleasant place, and Knaresborough itself is a beautiful historic town on the river, to visit. Plenty to take in along the river from cafes, pub , museums to canoeing, castle ruins, nice walks, really stunning views, with excellent places to eat and drink... My favourite the lavender rooms for a lovely afternoon tea and divine lavender scone, just in the town square! Just turn left out of st. James and keep going to Knaresborough up the hill... a good Aldi there too if needed lol... enjoy all! A good Knaresborough day out or just shopping!

Parking is the big issue here for anyone with disabilities. Plenty of spaces, plenty of shops but not enough time for anyone with mobility issues to enjoy a relaxed trip to this centre. It would be simple enough to allow an extra hour for disabled drivers. The provider of this car park obviously has no heart or comprehension of what it takes to get a person in an electric or any wheelchair in and out of their vehicle. It takes plenty of time and effort and the physical cost is not inconsequential to the person with disabilities. We would love to visit here again, the shops are great, but the hefty parking fine last time for a fraction of an overstay due to a need for a WC has put us off completely. There are enough complaints about this matter for the parking company to realise that discrimination is certainly is a charge to be answered here. There is never a response to these concerns I see! If able bodied people find it difficult to have a leisurely stop and coffee, what chance to we stand?

Be careful of the parking it’s changed to only 3 hours and they use ANPR on the site and will automatically ticket you. The parking notices are plenty but really aren’t that noticeable so it’s quite possible to miss them.

Just shops, and a fatdonalds. Parking is free although can be a mare at times, trying to find a spot, and don't dare stay longer than 3 hours or they'll sting you with a hefty fine
