Runners Need Harrogate

I came in for gait analysis and my first pair of shoes and I'm so glad I did. It was well worth having the treadmill available to try on the various pairs until I found the right one. I'm a size 11 and most places don't stock shoes of that size, runners need had the sizes, half sizes and wide fits. Ally, the sales staff, was very helpful. He really knew his stuff and explained it well. With so many pairs available it would've been difficult to find the right pair without him. There was no pressure to buy and despite being busy he was really attentive. Been out today in my new shoes and I'm really pleased with them. Thoroughly recommend this store.

Such friendly top service! 😁I have just got around to writing this having visited the Harrogate store a few weeks ago. Loui/Louis (spelling!) saw me looking at women's trainers when I walked in and instantly without being pushy asked if I would like to try any on and I explained I was looking for a new pair and keen to try on the Hokas. He was so friendly and knowledgeable and really listened to what I wanted them for and what I liked my trainers to feel like support wise and he asked really good questions such as how long I like to run for and whether they're more for the gym or outdoor runs and whether I prefer road or trail runs - all things which I hadn't thought about! He then said I was more than welcome to try their treadmill to try the trainers to see how they felt and suggested some Brooks as a comparison which I loved, he chose them having listened to what I liked about the Hokas, the bouncy heels - waaoow they felt even better!! The store has a fantastic range of trainers and great running socks and items as well as general fitness and walking clothes and a really nice calm feeling and I highly recommend going! You will be very fortunate and grateful to be served by Loui who clearly loves his job and gave excellent customer service, thank you Loui! I am sure all their staff are great at their jobs too! Keep up the fantastic service! Such a great shop to have in Harrogate!

Came in for a gait analysis and was seen to by Louis and Scott. Friendly guys, very patient. Louis particularly took the time to try to understand my needs, and Scott offered his knowledge from his own running experience. The gait analysis is pretty straight forward and not that in depth, but helpful all the same to confirm my technique. Would recommend to others.
