This was my first attempt at yoga. I have recently had a full hip replacement and have previously struggled with a ruptured disc. I have got to say that the session was well structured and I was able to do most of the stretches. I really did feel the benefits and can't wait to go again.
I have recently been attending yoga classes at Move Yoga Harrogate and it is a wonderful experience. Alissa is knowledgeable, patient and makes everyone feel welcome. The studio itself is clean, calming and well equipped with mats and props. The sessions are well structured with a gentle warm up, transitioning into more dynamic poses, and ending with a deeply relaxing savasana. Highly recommend this yoga class to anyone looking to improve their physical and mental well-being.
Alissa is a really wonderful and welcoming yoga teacher. I did the beginners course to get me back into Yoga after a break and loved it. Her Monday night class is really calming and restorative. The Friday morning class is a challenge but I could genuinely feel myself getting stronger each week.
It was my first time doing the class and I’ll 100% be back. I really enjoyed the class and the atmosphere inside was really really nice and welcoming - would definitely reccomend!
There’s a lovely community spirit at Move Harrogate and Alissa is a brilliant yoga teacher. She has an amazing ability to deliver a completely different class every single time, yet still somehow manages to tap into whatever it is I need to get out of any session. It feels like magic, but I know it’s because she’s very very good at what she does! However I feel when I walk into the studio, I always leave feeling relaxed yet energised.
