Found this little treasure and place of history by chance. Stone Circle, looks a little unassuming at a distance, but up close a different story. Nice tranquil feel to the area, but satnav is a little unreliable, need to drive past where it says, then park in the layby, and walk the path and you can't miss it once you're there

Myself and a small group of friends went to this location to connect with the stones and energy but we were told to leave by someone we believed to be the land owner. The stones look like they have been damaged and moved from there ordinal location elsewhere on the farm.

Tricky to find, as it's off the bridal path and through forestry, along a rough trail. The cairn/circle itself is on the edge of fields by a gate. There's a fair circle of upright or slightly toppled stones, around some central chambers, suggesting this was a burial cairn. Some stones have engraved marks, probably much more recent.

Greatest Stone Circle I have ever visited in my life. I've been to stone henge and this doesnt come close to the superiority of this stone formation. I am truly blown away and please can someone replace this with the Hanging Gardens of Babylon as a wonder of the world. My life has well and truly been made so much better since my eyes witnessed this beauty so I highly recommend you visit too. Wow

This Small circle of stones known locally as druids circle is quite difficult to find but fairly easy to get to via the millennium path near hardwood dale I asked a local where the millennium path began ... follow the path until the crossroads then take the right hand path follow untill you see a wide path on the left and follow this until you come to the place where the forest meets a field on you right follow the edge of the forest and farm wall to the stones . Watch out for the guardians of the stone which happen to be young bulls
