Herriot’s Kitchen has become a firm favourite with Wensleydale residents and visitors alike, priding ourselves on using freshly supplied, top quality local produce. Serving a selection of light lunches, refreshments and Yorkshire cream teas, complemented with home-baked cakes, Herriot’s Kitchen makes the ideal starting point for your visit to the area, and the perfect finishing venue to relax.

Preserves made in Herriot’s Kitchen are available to purchase; we are also now supplying ‘The Good Life’ with our freshly made soups and home-made preserves. Herriot’s Kitchen supports Shop Local North Yorkshire, a project uniting the shoppers, visitors and independent sellers, helping to sustain our local environment and community.

Herriot’s Kitchen is open everyday except Wednesdays Easter through til end of October, Tuesdays and week-ends through the winter months.
