Mohammed initially lied to me about the law, then promised to help, then failed to communicate for 3 weeks, then didn't answer his phone or call back. If thats the kind of lawyer you want. Then go for this firm. If you want someone who respects you enough to at least communicate with you, then find another firm. Spoke to Mohammed just now, he says he was under no obligation to be in contact with me, that I'm not his client, that he's a very busy legal aid lawyer, and that he was waiting for me to send the councils final response, which he never communicated he was waiting for. I pray to the almighty God above, that he sends swift justice to deal with the disrespectful and arrogant behaviour I have experienced. I pray it with my whole heart. Minorities like us always get the short end of the stick. Its even more hurtful when it comes from someone of colour pretending they haven't forgotten what it means to be looked down on. Shame, shame, shame 🔔 And yes, I will be submitting a legal ombudsman complaint, because i have a sneaky suspicion that Mohammed didn't do what he said he did. Which should be easy to prove one way or the other. He also claimed that discrimination was too difficult to prove to County Court judges because they dont understand the Equality Act 2010, and kept trying to persuade me to pursue a public law claim rather than a discrimination one. All my calls are recorded so the ombudsman should have fun listening to that.
