Valley Antiques

This is a fantastic place to visit. It is big store with lots of interesting vintage items, antiques, collectables and curiosities. The street Valley Road is perfect parking it is right outside the Antiques store and is a great place to park if you want to wander into Hebden as the centre is a few yards away..

Love a good look round here. Very varied mix for sale and came away with quite a collection. The staff member was very helpful. Discount for cash, so remember to take plenty!

This place is lovely, some great items, but both times I have been in here I’ve been watched like a hawk, it’s like they have never seen an Asian person in a shop like this, what looks like the owner looks friendly and seems friendly to others, but awkward towards me. First time we went in we actually bought something (small and cheap) and we actually went back to get a pair of French mirrors with candle holders (not cheap), but because of the experience decided against it. Not sure if the owner knows he’s even doing it, made me feel uncomfortable, shame as we collect antiques regularly and it seems the other antiques shop on the other side of the village is more accommodating - guess it’s the world we live in - makes me sad.

This place is packed to the rafters with interesting items. It's a treasure trove for collectors and dealers too; I've found some serious bargains here. A must visit. Lovely staff too.
