Small but okay skate park, with free parking and only a short 15 minute walk from central Holmfirth

This is one of our most favourite parks There is something for all age groups from babys to adults. My teen enjoys the skate park as well as my 6 years old. We have been every weekend during the summer months for years and all the children are so nice to each other and the bigger kids help the little kids and teach them how to do tricks. The park is a short walk through the tree lined pass by the river with our dog enjoys swimming in as well as a full family paddle. The park is good for young kids and up to age 10 as there is a zip line and all the normal park equipment. Swing, slid climbing frame and rope climbing structure .

Good place for kids up to around 14 I'd say. Smaller kids play area with climbing equipment and slides etc. Skate park and open spaces for the slightly older kids. Free Parking, overall good for a few hours max πŸ‘

Great skatepark! Perfect for beginners with shallow banks and small(ish) quarter pipes. Especially good for skaters. The pros would have a great time too. The only concern is that parents think its okay to bring very young children (under 5yo) to the skatepark and let them roam freely. Its extremely unsafe for them! Too many times have i seen young kids being hurt (sometimes VERY badly) by their lack of awareness for other riders, with no parents in sight. Not only that, but many riders get hurt dodging them. Overall, its a fantastic skatepark for riders of all kinds. (except unsupervised young kids lol)
