I love this place. It gives an original vibe. I loved the full english breakfast plate and the coffee Keep up the good work. Will i be back? Without a doubt. 👍
Went to the new shop first to be told they don't do food but two sat outside were eating a toasted teacake and one was brought to another table as I was leaving? We were served a freezer burnt teacake which I mentioned to a member of staff, response... Nothing! Just a look, not good enough. Also the tuna in my panini was a joke, I could scoop it up on a knife the amount that was in one half. Cheap coleslaw! The coffee however was excellent, probably the best I've had but the poor service regarding the food has put me off ever coming back!
I ordered two lattes and a slice of chocolate cake. Unfortunately, the cake did not seem fresh, and the coffee lacked flavour and served in plastic cup. In addition, the staff were not very friendly or welcoming, which affected the overall experience. I was disappointed, as I expected better quality and service. But music was great.
Called into Bex’s cafe today for a quick bacon and egg buttie on my lunch break ☕️ 🥪 Great service 😃 Great sandwich 😃 Defo would recommend to anyone in the area and I’ll be sure to call again 🙂 Thank you 👍🏼
Definitely feels like a standout for the area. Very good coffee and food (especially the borek). However, the cheap feeling mugs/cups, and being asked to wait at the register (it's cramped around it when multiple people are there) rather than getting drinks to the table, contrasted against the positives. Even so, happily go back as a preferred cafe is I was nearby.
