Runners and real ale lovers alike are in for a treat this autumn as Wold Top Brewery teams up once again with Bridlington Road Runners to host a scenic series of trail races on the Yorkshire Wolds.

Taking place on Saturday 13th September, this year’s event sees the welcome return of the popular Wold Top 10k, joined for the first time by a 5k race and a 1k children’s fun run — all set against the stunning backdrop of the Hunmanby Grange farm where the award-winning brewery is based.

Now in its third year, the collaboration between the brewery and the local running club has quickly become a favourite on the regional running calendar. The event blends challenging all-terrain routes with a relaxed post-run atmosphere — complete with a bar, pizza van, and optional on-site camping.

“Starting from the brewery, you'll run around the Wold Top farm, finishing back at the brewery bar for a well-deserved pint and some food,” say organisers. The new 5k race has been introduced to appeal to runners who are more familiar with the Parkrun distance, making the event accessible for all levels.

Race entries cost £19 for the 10k (or £17 for affiliated runners) and £15 for the 5k (or £13 for affiliated). Entry includes a medal, a finisher’s pint, and on-site first aid. The 1k fun run is free to enter, with a suggested £2 donation to St. Catherine’s Hospice.

Entries must be made online by 30th August, with no registration available on the day. Those looking to make a weekend of it can also book basic but beautiful camping pitches (tents, caravans, and motorhomes) for just £12 per pitch.
