The Deep in Hull is a spectacular award-winning aquarium that is shore to be a hit!

The Endless Ocean is the highlight of any visit; containing 2.5 million litres of water and 87 tonnes of salt, the giant tank is home to some of the most incredible animals in the sea including sharks and rays, including White tip reef sharks, Zebra sharks, Honeycomb whiptail rays, Loggerhead sea turtles and the only pair of Green sawfish in the UK.

In the chilly white space of the Kingdom of Ice live the VIPs of Hull – the Very Important Penguins!

Explore the Lagoon of Light which is home to an array of tropical fish and corals and the Amazon Flooded Forest – home to the Black pacu, an enormous vegetarian relative of the piranha.

Venture through the viewing tunnel and enjoy watching the creatures gliding right over your head.  If you’re lucky enough to spot one of the divers caring for or feeding the animals, don’t forget to give them a wave!

Journey back to the surface in the glass lift or by taking the Scenic Stairway taking in the magnificent views along the way.
