Easter Art Club at The Hepworth Wakefield
Join artist Jennyanne Smith for three days of fun, play and creativity at the world-famous The Hepworth Wakefield. Explore the galleries and experiment with different materials including printmaking, clay, plaster casting and giant drawing. The course will culminate in a mini-exhibition of your work for family and friends. This is suitable for 6 - 11 year olds.

Meet the Steampunk Scientists, who will blow your mind with their theatrical science demonstrations going on throughout the museum everyday. Free Fun at Xscape this Easter

Easter Family Fun Weekends at Newby Hall
Come to Newby Hall at Easter to take part in the Easter Family Fun Weekends! On Easter Sunday & Monday a whole cast of characters will be here to take you on a magical Easter Egg trail through the Woodland Walk! It’s a huge favourite with families, and of course the Adventure Playground, Miniature Train, Teddy Bear Exhibition and Dollshouse Exhibition will also be open, not forgetting the 25 acres of award winning gardens, so there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy!
Easter: A Cracking Chocolate Adventure at York’s Chocolate Story
Easter: A Cracking Chocolate Adventure promises to be an unforgettable experience at York’s Chocolate Story. Unique characters will bring to life an amazing story through games, Easter Egg hunts and – of course - chocolate. Children will join Gr-egg and Yolko as they try to fix Gr-egg’s big mistake; losing all of the Easter Eggs! The experience promises to get everyone into the Easter spirit in York, the UK’s home of chocolate!
Easter Holidays at Castle Howard
The Easter holidays will be stacked full to the brim with fun activities to entertain the whole family. Castle Howard welcome WonderPhil back! After sell out Magic Shows in January, WonderPhil will be running family magic workshops and performing a daily magic show. Make a day of it by taking part in Easter crafts and games, enjoying homemade treats from their cafes and taking a spring stroll on a daffodil walk.
The Easter Eggspress with Kirklees Light Railway
Hop aboard the Kirklees Light Railway's Easter Eggspress and travel by steam train to meet the Easter Bunny! The clumsy Bunny has dropped his crunchy carrots in the playground at Shelley and needs your help to gather them up. Everyone who helps the Bunny will receive a chocolate treat and, if you manage to find one of the Bunny's golden eggs, you'll win a special prize. On top of this, there will be platform rides, bouncy castles, giant lawn games, face painting, a children's entertainer and their adventure playgrounds.
Easter at Harlow Carr
RHS Garden Harlow Carr has many things going on across the Easter holidays to keep the kids entertained. Firstly, there’s their famous Lindt bunny trail where you can Hop through the garden on the trail to find a tasty treat or two. Then there’s the chance to meet the wacky Garden Detectives, on hand to welcome you and to share their themed stories. Finally, you can get crafty and make your very own bunny and chick baskets to take home!
Eggcellent Easter Weekend at Sledmere House
Come along and help Sledmere celebrate the opening of their new 'Spotted Pig Play Park' in Hampton Paddock with lots of Easter fun activities. There will be a special 'Easter Bunny Trail' and the first ever 'Great Sledmere Easter Egg and Spoon Obstacle Challenge'. In the grounds of Sledmere House you could also enjoy the family bike ride egg hunt.

Easter traditions at East Riddlesden Hall
Have you ever wassailed an apple tree? No? Well then join the East Riddlesden team here to learn more about this traditional celebration of prosperity. Decorate the apple trees with messages of good luck to encourage a good harvest and enjoy nature inspired crafts and activities. Inside the house foods of the season will be on display to welcome you to the Great Hall and gingerbread making will take place on Tuesdays between 11.30am - 12 noon too!
