Calling all fun-loving families! Visit Bempton Cliffs this Easter and we promise to have something for everyone. Do the Puffin Trail, watch thousands of seabirds on the cliffs, or armed with your very own Discovery Backpack, see what mini-beasts you can find along the Scavenger Bug Hunt Trail.
They sell everything you need for a picnic so the fun can continue all day! And whilst you're here watch out for Mrs P, the friendly puffin mascot who loves to give out hugs. These activities count towards your Wild Challenge; a challenge created by Bempton Cliffs to allow visitors to connect with the natural world in brave new ways.
Springtime Thunder Day at the Yorkshire Air Museum
Did you know that this April will mark ten years since the Yorkshire Air Museum's Nimrod XV250 landed here at Elvington? Their springtime Thunder Day is a wonderful chance to celebrate that emotional occasion when her flying career drew to a close and her wheels touched down in the Elvington runway for a final time. They’re planning a weekend of celebrations which will be a great opportunity to come along and learn more about the history of this aircraft and the important role that her aircrews played in a wide variety events across the entire world
Egg Case Hunt at The Deep
Join The Deep for their first Egg Case Hunt of the year! Taking place at Spurn Point, this free event is being delivered in partnership with the Shark Trust and the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust in a bid to involve local people in shark conservation. Ideal for children aged 3 upwards, you can support marine life whilst enjoying a great day out. All participants are asked to wear suitable and sturdy footwear, wellies are ideal! The event is expected to finish by 3pm. All under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.

The spacious Demonstration Room at Wensleydale Creamery will not only give you the opportunity to experience the amazing cheese and butter making demonstrations, delivered by the Cheese Experts, but will also take you on a cheese-making journey from the 1100’s through to the current day.
