Holiday at Home, a local family run holiday letting business based in North Yorkshire, is celebrating the start of another successful year by adding a 40th luxury self-catering holiday property to their collection.
Holiday at Home, based in and around Richmond, North Yorkshire has been bringing an increasing number of holiday makers to the area over the last 10 years, having started with 20 exclusive lakeside lodges at Brompton Lakes in 2009 they now manage a further 20 properties all with their own unique features. Their five-star collection ranges in size, with one bedroom romantic retreats, two bedroom cosy cottages, stylish riverside apartments, three bedroom lakeside lodges as well as large country houses amongst some of the most amazing views in the area.
The latest property launch is Harelands Farm; a unique four bedroom luxury hideaway above Richmond, nestled in the glorious North Yorkshire countryside. Its standout features include a garden hot tub, private fishing pond, horse stables and paddock, and with a games room coming soon Harelands Farm epitomizes the five star standard ‘home away from home’ feel that Holiday at Home prides itself on.
William Stephenson, one of the Directors of Holiday at Home, explains: ‘To be able to partner with more and more local holiday property owners, and to have the opportunity to bring our loyal guests something as exceptional as Harelands Farm is very exciting. Over the past 10 years we have almost doubled in size, and we have achieved so much in such a relatively short amount of time. We pride ourselves on the highest standard of comfort, luxury and style across each of our properties, something that has become expected across the entire Holiday at Home portfolio.’
Harelands Farm definitely fits the bill with it’s impressive mixture of traditional and contemporary designer interiors; high oak beams, exposed stone work and a log burning stove combined with a modern farmhouse kitchen, the latest technology, stunning wallpapers and bedroom furnishings to provide the best in luxury home comforts. Outside you can relax all year round in the jacuzzi-style hot tub, enjoy the long summer evenings on the patio, or watch the sunset on the jetty by the lake – an idyllic setting.
Inside Harelands Farm has vibrant colours and feels spacious whilst still cosy, making it ideal for entertaining a group of up to 8 guests. The downstairs has a comfortable seating area with a log burning fire to curl up in front of with a glass of wine and the perfect space to get the group together, as well as a separate snug area, which is perfect for movie nights or somewhere for the children to have their own space. From the open-plan dining area you get panoramic views over the landscaped gardens, the lake and the spectacular Yorkshire countryside beyond.
The four stylish bedrooms were designed by the talented interior designer, Rosie Mennem.
This is the perfect escape to the country if you’re looking for somewhere that is comfortable and still feels luxurious; each bedroom has its own design as well as comfy super king size beds, there are 3 bathrooms, two of which are en-suite, and there is even a Pinterest worthy traditional free-standing bath tub.
