Oxygen Freejumping is billed as Leeds’ favourite trampoline park and it is clear to see why. The team aims to make sure that everyone leaves with a smile on their face and when the gang at Welcome to Yorkshire were invited along for a night of high-flying fun, this goal was definitely achieved.
As we queued up we tried to keep our cool and not act like the excited, screaming children that sat beside us watching the safety briefing, but that front soon disappeared as we all rushed excitedly to check out the nine different zones of jumping fun on offer. With over 120 trampolines, a giant airbag, an awesome assault course (that pitted colleagues against each other in ‘friendly’ competition) and the world’s first fitness reaction track, it really does take trampolining to a whole new level.
Whilst most of the WTY team were hoping to reach the heights of trampoline Olympic silver medallist Bryony Page, the majority of us were actually as graceful as Buster the boxer.
Another added bonus if you’ve never been tall enough to master playing basketball, and more so the coveted slam dunk, like us, or you just love Space Jam, also like us, then Oxygen Freejumping has you covered. With two basketball hoops situated above a strip of trampoline you’ll ‘Be Like Mike’ in no time. Just don’t forget to check out the rest of the cool stuff on offer, like the opportunity to give new meaning to the words ‘bouncing off walls.’
Oxygen Freejumping is an amazing day out and fun for all the family, it’s great in all seasons too – not just spring.
