About Julian
Julian Norton is a respected veterinary surgeon, regular on the best-loved series The Yorkshire Vet and author of many novels for adults including, Horses, Heifers and Hairy Pigs: The Life of a Yorkshire Vet and All Creatures: Heart-warming Tales from a Yorkshire Vet. Having worked in Yorkshire at various animal practices, he became partner at a practice at which Alf Wight (better known under his pseudonym of James Herriot) had worked. In 2021, Julian set up Sandbeck Veterinary Centre in Wetherby and continues to appear on the Yorkshire Vet as well as regularly appearing as a guest on television shows and literary events.
