  1. Since when did The Phoenix do burgers, fish and chips? That would be lovely. I’ve been going in there for 15 years. The beer is outstandingly good. Their food offering however is, at best, pickled eggs, crisps, occasional pork pies. Am I missing something?

  2. You’ve covered most of my usual haunts – whoever wrote the article obviously has very good taste 🙄 . Of the ones not mentioned, The Swan, Slip Inn, Volunteer Arms, Golden Ball, Three Legged Mare, Market Cat and The Hop are always worth a visit, whilst Brew York have the most amazing selection of around 40 beers of all styles at any one time. We are truly blessed… 😊🍻
