Afternoon Tea

Afternoon Tea

Tradition, elegance, style, luxury and relaxation are all synonymous with the very English tradition of Afternoon Tea. There's nothing quite like a good cup of tea - whether it's enjoyed in the afternoon with cakes or sipped outdoors while admiring the county's stunning natural beauty.

The Queen of Afternoon Tea - Bettys

A true Yorkshire great, Bettys is not only home to the perfect cup of tea, it's also the place to enjoy fresh coffee, tempting cakes, locally sourced food and traditional Afternoon Tea. Bettys have Cafe Tea Rooms across the county each with their own unique character.

Bettys York was inspired by the style of the luxury 1930s ocean liner the Queen Mary and is still the height of Art Deco elegance even now. Bettys Harrogate overlooks the famous Stray and Montpellier Gardens. You can enjoy coffee in the Montpelier Café Bar or reserve a table in the stylish Imperial Room for an afternoon tea from Friday to Sunday. Bettys at RHS Garden Harlow Carr is just outside Harrogate, surrounded by the beauty of the 58-acre RHS gardens and also has a terrace for al fresco dining. Bettys Ilkley offers a perfect place to relax with a pot of tea after a day spent taking in the glorious view of Ilkley Moor. Bettys Northallerton is housed in a Grade II listed building in this traditional Yorkshire market town.
