The Great Yorkshire Show takes place from Tuesday 11th – Thursday 13th July this year at the Harrogate Showground.
Some 100,000 visitors are expected to attend this farming and countryside showcase over the three day event. The crowds will see some of the UK's finest cattle, sheep and pigs competing for the coveted championship rosettes, as well as 2,000 horses in the show jumping and equine classes.
Along with the livestock classes, there will be an action-packed programme of music, food and country pursuits to entertain people of all ages. The food hall will be home to some of the country's finest refreshments, along with cookery theatres to inspire those passionate about food.
As always, Welcome to Yorkshire's stand is the biggest at the show and we’re once again being supported by a select few of our key partners to being variety to the stand. We’ll once again have the ever popular Scarborough beach for families to come and visit and a pub to sample some of Yorkshire’s greatest ales.
There will also be a chance to meet the Welcome to Yorkshire team who’ll be there to help you have a memorable visit to our stand. We’re beside the big wheel again this year – hope to see you there!
If you are a business and would like more information on becoming a stand partner, please contact Nicola Christian on 0113 3223570 or firstname.lastname@example.org

North Yorkshire County Council Road Safety and Travel Awareness Team implement education, training and publicity programmes throughout North Yorkshire with the aim of lowering the number of road casualties.
Our data led priorities include initiatives focused on young and new drivers; older drivers; motorcyclists and cyclists; in car safety; driving for work and children.
Our team work with our partners in the 95Alive York and North Yorkshire Road Safety Partnership to reduce injury, disability and death caused by road collisions.
Working in partnership with North Yorkshire agencies we are able to devote more time and energy to trying to prevent people from being injured on the county’s roads. Bringing Police, Fire Service, Highways and the NHS we are able to more fully understand the composition of a road crash, the after effects and the factors involved. This knowledge, together with the latest research, informs our approach.
We work together on a number of key road safety campaigns such as consequences of not wearing a seat belt, in car distractions, drinking and driving, occupational road risk, speeding, winter driving, hazard awareness and cycle training.
