Jump on a Segway or have a go at quad biking at Camp Hill Estate and manoeuvre around some of the most stunning grounds in Yorkshire. Experience a whole range of exhilarating activities at Live for Today Adventures. With sites at both Ripley Castle and Hazlewood House, have a go at quad biking, laser tag, body zorbing and much more!
Get out on the water at Sheffield Cable Water-ski and try your hand at cable knee boarding, water-skiing and wakeboarding. Don’t worry if you’re new to the sport, their friendly staff will be on hand to instruct and guide you over ten obstacles including kickers, wedges, sliders, fun boxes, a rooftop rail and wall ride. Welton Waters Adventure Centre offer a fantastic variety of land and water based activities. Situated by a lovely stretch of the Humber River, come and have a go at dinghy sailing, windsurfing, raft-building or canoeing.
Try your hand at 4x4 off road driving at the North Yorkshire off Road Centre in Robin Hood’s Bay with ukLANDROVERevents. The sessions last around two and a half hours and are great fun for getting to grips with an off road vehicle on tricky terrain. Get behind the wheel of a new Land Rover Defender TDCI at Yorkshire Outdoors near Thirsk and drive through deep mud and water, up impossibly steep climbs and over breathtaking crests. Beginner, intermediate or an expert, you’ll find it demanding, challenging, but above all serious fun. Dales Bike Centre is an absolute must for mountain biking and road cycling in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Stay a while or visit for a day, choose from one of the many mountain biking route maps and head to the hills where adventure awaits.
Soar above the trees at GoApe! Dalby Forest as you fly down zip-wires, leap off Tarzan Swings and tackle crossings high above the ground. Tackle Wired, a high ropes challenge at The Web Adventure Park near York. This challenging, continuous ropes course consists of twenty two elements and activities of varying difficulty, designed to test your nerve and ability. The brand new Tree Top Nets opens at Lightwater Valley this summer. Expect giant trampolines high in the trees as well as walkways, slides and tunnels made out of netting, suspended 9 metres off the ground.
