1. The Star Inn at Harome

An historic C14th thatched inn with hospitality steeped in its very timbers, The Star Inn is located in the picturesque village of Harome on the edge of the North York Moors. It was taken over in 1996 by Andrew Pern and has since won nearly every award worth its salt, including a Michelin Star, for Andrew's 'Modern Yorkshire' cooking and his Inn’s warm hospitality. A real gem of a restaurant.

5. Horto, Harrogate

Latin for kitchen garden, Horto Restaurant uses seasonal ingredients from Rudding Park Kitchen Garden. The menu is dictated by nature, the skill of the Gardener and the flair of the Chef. Horto Restaurant has been awarded 3 AA Rosettes in the Awards for Culinary Excellence 2017-18, placing it in the top 10% of restaurants/hotels within the AA Restaurant Guide.
