Cannon Hall Farm

Famous for its notoriously good home-produced beef, pork and lamb Cannon Hall Farm Shop has twice been a finalist in the White Rose Awards “Taste of Yorkshire” category. If you value an old-fashioned approach to service and a commitment to the highest standards and great value for money, Cannon Hall use traditional farming and butchery methods handed down through the generations to provide some of the finest quality meat you’ll taste.

Cedarbarn Farm Shop

At Cedarbarn Farm Shop, the onsite butchery is one of the biggest attractions for visitors there. As well as their own home-reared beef and lamb, Cedarbarn also sell a range of other top quality, locally produced meats, plus a wide range of tasty homemade meat products. The skilled butchers have all served many years in the industry and know everything there is to know about meat!

Supporting over 350 Yorkshire farmers, growers and producers, Fodder sells the very best food and drink from the county with a full butchery counter, a deli counter laden with fresh pies, pasties and a huge variety of amazing cheese. Fruit and veg comes straight from farms to the shop shelves and there’s a whole host of jams and chutneys on sale alongside freshly baked local bread and mouth-watering cakes.

Miller’s Fish & Chips

Miller's Fish & Chips use only the finest, locally-sourced ingredients in their products. Miller's strongly believes in responsible, sustainable fishing, and as such, only supplies fish that is MSC certified. In keeping with current food trends, Miller's also operates a separate frying area to cater for allergen-free diets, offering a range of gluten-free, Halal and vegetarian products as part of their already extensive menu.

The Firebox Café @ Stage1cycles

The Firebox Café is a very proud independent cafe and they've packed it with great coffee and great food. If you’re in for a quick takeaway or want to soak up the vibe inside and browse the bikes and bits you’re going to be in for a treat. The coffee is by Roost of Malton and the cakes and savouries are by their very own Queen of Tarts, baking and making like a demon. As far as they, the cafe uses and supports local suppliers and producers where possible.

Wold Top Brewery

At Wold Top Brewery they use traditional methods and recipes to brew real ales with character. The character reflects the fact that the pure, chalk filtered water travels only metres from a borehole to the brewery, that the barley is exclusively Wold grown and malted by family maltsters and that selected British grown hops impart a distinctive flavour. Wold Top believe that these measures result in better crops and tastier ales hoping that when you taste it, you agree.
