The Firebox Café is a very proud independent cafe and they've packed it with great coffee and great food. If you’re in for a quick takeaway or want to soak up the vibe inside and browse the bikes and bits you’re going to be in for a treat. The coffee is by Roost of Malton and the cakes and savouries are by their very own Queen of Tarts, baking and making like a demon. As far as they, the cafe uses and supports local suppliers and producers where possible.
At Wold Top Brewery they use traditional methods and recipes to brew real ales with character. The character reflects the fact that the pure, chalk filtered water travels only metres from a borehole to the brewery, that the barley is exclusively Wold grown and malted by family maltsters and that selected British grown hops impart a distinctive flavour. Wold Top believe that these measures result in better crops and tastier ales hoping that when you taste it, you agree.
