The award will be presented to the provider whose entry best illustrates excellent practice, acknowledging the important part played by tourist information providers in the delivery of visitor services.

They are more than willing to advise on visitor attractions, public transport and how to make the most of your stay in Bradford. Stocking essentials such as comprehensive maps, guidebooks and leaflets, the centre also has a wonderful selection of souvenirs and gifts to remind you of your trip.

Bridlington Tourist Information Centre

Bridlington Tourist Information Centre is situated in a new outlet on the seafront and offers a wide range of leaflets and information on attractions, events and accommodation for visitors to Bridlington and the surrounding area. In addition, the new outlet sells snacks, sandwiches, ice cream, tea and coffee, souvenirs and beach goods.

Doncaster Tourist Information Centre

Equipped with the expertise and the knowledge to give you the most up-to-date advice on Doncaster and the surrounding areas, Doncaster Tourist Information Centre is a well-established landmark within the town centre. The centre is open six days a week and sells local books, post cards, coach tours and other souvenirs as well as giving sound advice to tourists.

Harrogate Tourist Information Centre

Whilst visiting Harrogate make your first stop the Harrogate Tourist Information Centre, located in the magnificent Royal Baths at the historic heart of town. The experienced and knowledgeable staff are on hand to help you make the most of your visit. There is also a wide range of publications, local guides, maps and souvenirs on sale to help you make the most of your visit.

Humber Bridge Tourist Information Centre

Humber Bridge Tourist Information Centre is situated in a large free car park adjacent to the Humber Bridge Country Park nature reserve and with easy access to the Yorkshire Wolds Way and Trans Pennine Trail. Your one stop shop for a full range of information services. Fully trained, friendly and helpful staff can offer expert knowledge, accommodation booking, holiday information, what's on guides and much more.

Visit York Information Centre

Visit York is proud to operate a state of the art Visitor Information Centre in the heart of the city. One Museum Street is conveniently located near York Minster and many other attractions, shops and restaurants, offering a range of service and assisting over 500,000 visitors to the city every year. The friendly assistants are there to share their expert local knowledge of attractions, travel information, places to eat out, shops and events.
