Yorkshire’s Eggtastic Hunting Ground
Easter wouldn’t be the same without an Easter egg hunt and this year it’s no different.
The busy Easter Bunny has been visiting some of the best Yorkshire attractions hiding eggs from you lot and we need your help to find them all. Here’s a few delightful eggventures for you to get stuck into this season.
24/3/18 – 8/4/18
This year at Burton Constable, a selection of beautifully decorated eggs have been hidden within the Hall. Search upstairs and downstairs to be in with a chance to receive a special Easter treat, but only if you find them all! The fun doesn’t end there, the Easter Petting Farm offers a unique opportunity to get close to the animals, cute chicks, fluffy bunnies and cuddly lambs will be taking their first steps in the Easter Baby Barn.
24/3/18 - 8/4/18
The Team at William’s Den are preparing a schedule of activities from Monday 26th March – Tuesday 3rd April when there will be Egg Painting, Bunny Bowling, Eggheads, a Chocolate Workshop and a traditional Egg Hunt!
24/3/18 – 15/4/18
The Mad About Madagascar Easter event at the Tropical Butterfly House might be egg-sactly what you’re looking for this Easter. The conventional characters associated with Easter will be there, baby bunnies and tiny chicks but the Tropical Butterfly House are also giving you the chance to meet some of the Madagascan species up close. On your way round, keep an eye out for clues to win an Easter egg, if you bump into the Easter Bunny, maybe he’ll give you some help!
28/3/18 – 16/4/18
The egg hunt as Stockeld Park gets better and better each year and yet again this time round it’s set to be egg-ceptional. Decorated as famous explorers from the past, the eggs are hidden in and around the Enchanted Forest, use your Stockeld map to find them all and be in with a chance of winning a cracking Easter goodie bag!
30/3/18 – 2/4/18
At Nostell Priory, the Easter Bunny has been hopping around the gardens waking up all the spring wildlife. Retrace Bunny’s footsteps to discover some egg-cellent challenges and games along the woodland trail to be in for a chance to claim your yummy Cadbury chocolate prize.
30/3/18 – 15/4/18
The whole family will enjoy egg-sploring the great outdoors at the Studfold Adventure Trail. With plenty to do you can create your very own egg on a stick, make an Easter card, but without doubt, you’d be yolking not to pick up an Easter Egg clue sheet. Pick one up and discover large willow nests and brightly coloured eggs around the park. Find the gold rabbit and win an Easter surprise…
If you fancy an egg trail with a difference, why not head over to Skipton Castle Woods. Join the fairies and wizards of Rusticus Theatre as you seek out clues throughout the trail, find the Woodland Fairy, Water Nymph and Wizard to help you solve the mystery. Easter isn’t Easter without chocolate, if you find all the items in the woods you’ll be in for a chocolate treat at the end of the day.
1/4/18 – 2/4/18
On Easter Sunday and Monday, take to Burton Agnes Hall as you are invited to help the Easter Bunny search the Hall’s woodland for many thousands of chocolate eggs that have been hidden. Take part in the Easter trail around the magnificent ground, solving clues and earning Easter treats. However, Bunny is most concerned about the missing giant golden egg that needs finding, now that sounds tasty!
On Easter Monday at Thornton Hall Farm there’s lots of Easter themed fun to be had, animal feeding, animal petting and much more. The days main attraction will be the Easter egg hunts where the Easter Rabbit will accompany you on your quest to find the hidden eggs. Don’t be a chicken, get yourself over to Thornton Hall Farm!
Join Skirlaugh Gardens and Aquatic Centre for a day of FREE family fun this Easter! There's a bouncy castle, face painting, live music, a coconut shy and much more. On top of this, they have an Easter egg trail with a prize for every entry and there is a FREE prize draw for a HUGE Easter hamper!
