Nestled in the beautiful, quiet surroundings of the Pennines to the north of Halifax, lies the thrilling Another World Adventure Centre.
For an ultimate outdoors experience, the centre is the place to be - whether you’re visiting with a small group of family or friends, or as a larger party.
With everything from archery to snowboarding on offer, adventurers of all ages will find something to fulfil their adrenaline cravings. The full list of activities is available on Another World’s website.
If you’re looking for something a little different, try mountain boarding. It’s essentially snowboarding, but without the snow! Using 4 pneumatic wheels attached to a board, this relatively new sport is gaining popularity, and Another World Adventure Centre is home to the UK’s very first purpose-built mountain board centre. From the top of the slopes, you can see across West Yorkshire and into Derbyshire on a clear day!
Grass sledging is a great way for all the family to have a go; the sledges go a bit faster than their winter counterparts, but have built-in brakes and steering if you don’t fancy yourself as a speed-demon!
The Go Kart Building and racing activity is where scrap heap challenge meets a buggy race. Whilst all the essentials are provided, the results can be hilariously lacking in engineering inspiration!
To have a good excuse to knock over your friends, parents or kids, try the bumper balls. These human-sized inflatables come in a range of sizes, and allow you to crash into each other and roll upside down without getting hurt… or getting into trouble! Just pull the ball over your head, adjust the safety straps, and off you go!
