William’s Den, near Hull

With wide open spaces, wonderful views and endless opportunities for good old-fashioned outdoor entertainment, William’s Den is the perfect place for kids to connect with nature and run wild.

Come rain or shine there’s fun to be found, whether it’s in the 475 square metre play barn, or on the extensive outdoor play area.

In The Den, you’ll find a unique indoor play space for little ones of all ages. The two-storey tree house is constructed from responsibly sourced wood and designed by skilled play experts.

Children can explore the different levels by sliding from the treehouse into a sand pit, or climb inside the trunk of the tree to clamber up to the top.

Wooden planks on the walls are perfectly tuned to create music with drumsticks, while a stunning waterfall trickles peacefully through the woodland.

Step outside and there’s den making, a ‘mountains and molehills’ space to hop, skip and jump around, and even a 50-foot zip wire. There are plenty of wooden structures to climb, along with both water and sand play, tyre swings, and a mud kitchen.

If you need a rest or just a quick drink, The Kitchen Table restaurant is the place to be. Boasting a mouth-watering menu plus its very own wood-fired pizza oven and ice cream parlour, all the dishes served are nutritious and delicious for all the family.
