Major bucket list adventure ticked off . The October 2025 Grand Tour with African Moto Adventures completed. Thanks to James, Jordan and Rowland for a fantastic experience. From the very start every day was a new WOW day. I thought it can’t get better than this but it did and then it carried on amazing us with the views, the wildlife and the accommodation. Highly recommended. The guys took great care of everyone and made sure we went home with the most spectacular memories. Thank you

I’ve been fortunate in being able to go on three adventures with AMA. Two grand tours 2017 and 2018. Then this year (2019) to Uganda. What I realised from the start was the feeling of being on a true adventure. Everything was well planned and I was well instructed and supported at key times like crossing borders and riding through the two big cities Cape Town and Windhoek but there was still a feeling of some hardship which at the end of the day gave me a feeling of satisfaction and achievement. I’d earned my beer! There is such a wide choice of things to see and experience. Fish River Canyon, Victoria Falls Elephant Highway, Schotia Safari Game Reserve (three nights), the list is endless. Hence my two trips. Just in case you’re wondering whether you could do it. If you’re fit and healthy and you can ride a motorcycle you could. I’m 70 this year. The Uganda ride? Watch this space. Still on a high.🏍
