Wonderful traditional butcher with friendly service and a superb range of meat. Had the pork steak in Chinese marinade today and they were superb.

We were recommended to try the pork pies, and the scotch eggs were so nice looking I had to try those as well. The pork pie was the best I've ever had but the black pudding scotch egg was on a different level. Forget everything you thought you knew about what you get in a supermarket, these are expensive but the size and quality are worth every penny.

Must have hit a bad day, had 2 pies for from them based on good reviews. But they were as dry as ghandi's flip flops, tasted OK the bits we could eat. But wouldn't recommend, mind you the dog loved her tea tonight.

Best steak pies ever! On holiday and found this gem of a butchers. So good we bought a supply for home. Only regret that we didn't buy more.
