I’ve looked at other reviews and it feels like they are describing a totally different place! I was en route to look at Robert’s Cave when I saw the sign for the gardens. Made my way down some steps to: a couple of benches overlooking the river-no flowers or anything that I would expect to find in a garden🤷♀️and quite a lot of overgrown area to the left.
Beautiful wee spot for a picnic. Also access to the river too if you want a paddle with the kids. Few very well kept benches to sit on and a bit of grass to lay on.
A small and hidden spot, but pleasant to spend a few minutes walking around the hilly area and chilling by the river. You’re not likely to find many other people here, so for a bit of downtime it’s a hidden gem.
Not really a garden as such but just a green space near to the river
Beautiful garden area..with the sun shining and the noise of the boats it was lovely.
