Le Tour de Yorkshire was an elite cycling race which took place each year, of which the region was rightly very, very proud.
The event was a legacy race, setup to capitalise upon the vast success of the magnificent Tour de France Yorkshire Grand Depart 2014 event, which saw millions of people across the region line the streets for stages one and two of the world’s most famous cycle race.
Tour de Yorkshire had it’s last edition in 2019, before the Covid-19 pandemic sadly caught up with the event.
