Went to the Abba day disco today. In the advert it claimed to have wall to wall Abba songs when in fact they only played 7 ish Abba songs the rest was 80s which is fine but don't claim to be an Abba party Disappointing
Do not go by the prices advertised on the posters in the venue. I ordered 8 VKs on the pretence it said x2 for £5 on the poster, when given the card machine it stated £56.80, I questioned it! The response was quick and sharpe from the blonde girl on shift " The prices on the posters are for a different event". I reluctantly paid. If your prices are different for each event, the posters should be put up accordingly to prevent false advertising and grievance. I was not the only one who questioned this. The venue itself is pretty good and the bouncers on shift where a laugh, it's a shame the one member of staff behind the bar had no manners and the prices were falsely advertised.
Went for a night out with my friends in Leeds and HOME ruined all of our night. We were simply walking past it and were harassed by reps who begged us to go in , so we thought we might as well since they were offering free drinks. Got to the door and we were faced by three threatening nasty bouncers and the FEMALE proceeded to give me horrible stare downs as she passed the id round to her colleagues and they did the same. Being a freshly turned 18 girl out is threatening enough but to be made to feel so uncomfortable by people who should make your night safer was horrid. My id was then taken off of me as I was shouted at and PHOTOGRAPHED by the female bouncer.
Almost ruined a hen night. Blonde haired bouncer had huge ego issues and targeted my friend for being too drunk and kicked her out on her own - not allowing her to get her possessions (she had done nothing wrong). She was extremely aggressive even though all 16 of us had paid £50 each for a very dodgy ‘dreamboys’ act where girls were being physically touched up by the male performers. (One example would be a girl whose breasts were groped) we left half way through the act and were not sorry about it!!
Club probably had about 10 people in when we entered at 12:30am on a Friday night out. Still mostly empty and quite a rubbish atmosphere by 1/1:30am. Drinks were pretty pricey as expected but the music was okay and staff were friendly.
