I write this comment with full respect and without any desire for argument or annoyance. Often, an image of Islam is conveyed through the media or the actions of some individuals, rather than through its original teachings. Therefore, I just wanted — for those who are interested in reflection and research — to point out that Islam, from its sources, calls for monotheism, justice, mercy, and respect for human beings. Islam honors Jesus, peace be upon him, and regards him as a great prophet. It shares with other traditions deep ethical and human values, despite differences in doctrinal beliefs. I believe the fairest way to understand any religion is to study it from its original sources with a calm and neutral perspective. Islam is a religion that can give you the inner peace you may have been searching for but have not yet found. It helps you understand who you are, why you were created, and what our destiny — and the destiny of this world — will be after death. Be aware that not knowing the complete truth now could cost you much later and lead to regret. My intention in saying this is simply to invite calm and respectful reflection. I wish peace and goodness to everyone who reads this.

The hotel was perfect for our stay. We had a quieter room on the back and a lot of space. The rooms are smart with large bathrooms. It was also very clean. The car park is right at the back so easily walkable. The bar area and restaurant were great. Really cosy atmosphere. The staff were all lovely. From reception to the bar they all had such polite and friendly attitudes. Cant fault them. My only small gripe would be in agreeing with some other customers that the mattresses are extremely hard and it was a pretty rough night of sleep on it. However thats maybe personal choice too.

Loved, loved, loved, our stay. The hotel is in a quiet courtyard and still right in the heart of all the sights, shops, and restaurants. I'd say less than a 10 minute walk to the train station. The lobby is serene and comfortable. The rooms are traditional Marriott style with all those wonderful Marriott quality features. If you get access to the Executive Lounge you'll enjoy it. Hot and cold dishes are served at breakfast and Happy Hour. Happy Hour was a lot of fun. Don't miss it. Light snacks and drinks are available there 24/7. Claudia at the front desk is wonderful. Loads of people check in and out, and she always managed to recognize us and ask how we're enjoying stay. Paul in the Executive Lounge is a treasure. He keep that lounge in tip top shape and found time to give us great advice on what to do, see, and eat in Leeds/York. Great Hotel!

Stayed a couple of weeks ago and loved it. The location is super just next to trinity centre. The hotel is modern and the rooms are absolutely spotless. Please thank the housekeeping staff. We had exec lounge added to booking and it was well worth it. Lovely evening food and super drinks. Great value when you think of city prices. A lovely staff member cleared tables but chatted to all customers on what their plans were. But what made this so special was that Natasha on front desk remembered our room preference and remembered our names and had the biggest smile ever!! What amazing service and it really made our whole weekend! Thank you Natasha! Ps the breakfast is absolutely amazing too! Best hotel in Leeds by a country mile! David and Alison

Great hotel. Marriott never disappoint and they are so attentive. The rooms were great and the restaurant was amazing. The selection was really good. Right in the centre of Leeds, very easy to get to shops and parking is not far away. Validate by reception for cheaper parking. Will definitely use again when in the area.
