If you love an uncomfortable mattress and a room that stinks of cabbage, this is the hotel for you! The hotel corridors have a very odd smell and the entirety of the floorboards in the corridors creak whenever someone walks over them, not great when you’re getting woken up at 4am by people walking outside your room. When we walked in the room, it was like I’d stepped foot into a hotel room located on the sun. Checked the thermostat and it was set to 28°. Who in their right mind would want their room at 28° 😂. We stayed in a double room and got one pillow each. The rooms aren’t very soundproof; Could hear the person in the next room’s iPhone alarm going off at 6am for around 25 minutes straight. Was charged for 2 nights in the car park because we left the actual car park after 12pm so watch out for that. Stayed at multiple premier inns before which have all been good. This one was not. The only positive is the room was relatively clean.

Great location, easy to get to and usually the cheapest near the city centre. Just be wary, the car park operator will try to charge you for 2 nights if you don't leave before 12pm the next day. I enquired with Premier Inn staff and they said that's what it is. I paid it and then applied for and successfully received a refund from Horizons Parking as they state £9 for 24 hours.

It's a walk from the station. There is a very small carpark. The entrance is around off the road. And too be honest, kind of hidden by the restaurant in the same building. There was only one drink machine for water that was only down one corridor far away from the front door on the ground floor. And when I went, there was no water left. Just energy drinks and chocolates. There was a bar in the entrance but there was noone serving. The building is a bit old looking. It isn't as good as other Premier Inns. However the room was comfortable, clean and I slept well so it did the trick.

Arrived and our rooms weren't even ready. No one had came in to clean it. Beds not made, rubbish in bin, it was literally just left after the previous guests! and other guests had the same experience, rooms not ready! Its at least a 20 min walk to the city centre for the better shops/cafes/bars. Went to speak to staff, they had no clue and we were told we would have to wait until they got a cleaner in to have the room ready. Just abysmal. One positive I will say the staff were apologetic and eventually refreshed our room. The whole place had this musty sweaty smell, and the carpets were dirty and looked like they hadn't been hoovered. Seriously lacking good cleaners. So anyone else beware. You're not going to get a good standard premiern inn experience. Very, very poor not well kept at all. The building looks very run down even from the outside. Very depressing.

It’s a premier inn and does what it says. Room was a really nice size. There were no towels in my room but went to reception and they quickly gave me some. Staff are very friendly. For the value compared to other hotels it’s great. 👍 can’t fault it for the price. My only point would be stock up on water if you like a drink at night because the bottles in the vending machine are £2.70 each.
