Kids party for an 8 year old and friends Did the vip package. Got the fancy lane, host and kids got to eat there food in private area. Main disappointment on the website the deal inc fizzy drink, slushy or ice cream for each kid this was not the case got told for that it would be an extra cost. The arrive time on the booking is 15min early which was pain with 8 very young kids as we sat them in the bar. We handed over and a bag with the cake and bits in as asked at reception and when it came to food bit we was handed a the bag back so felt a bit pointless. (E.g cake not removed from box, candles set up and no ofder to cut up cake so very pointless) I wouldn't recommend this deal if you have been to other places like the trampoline place near by (its a diffrent level or service). I would suggest just book lanes as normal and take the kids to 5 guys after. Apart from that grumble the girls did enjoy the bowling and food it didn't effect them.
This place is amazing. As a tourist; there's not many things to do around Leeds. Found this place online and went with the family. Such an amazing time everyone had. From the toddlers to the adults. Did a bunch of activities such as bowling, pool, mini golf and the racing games etc. Made some awesome memories with the family and everyone enjoyed the vibes.
Bar staff are absolute shambles. Rude, not one bit welcoming, manager is the most miserable person I've ever seen. Extremely slow service . I felt like it was every employees first day on earth. Booked three games and the lane was having technical issues the entire time. Wrong scores ect. Wouldn't recommend
Myself and my family went to Hollywood bowl Leeds tonight not realising a new game called strike it lucky was on. Every 15 minutes some music played for 3 minutes and if you got a strike you had a chance to win some prizes. We had a great time and won a few prizes! A free game of bowling, a plushie teddy and some free loaded nachos. It was loads of fun and we will definitely be going back!
We go bowling here regularly and it's great. It's so convenient to be able to book it online and is about the price I would expect. Takes just a moment to speak to the employees at the counter to check in and get your assigned lane. You fill in your own names, choose handedness, and decide whether or not you want bumpers at the machine in your lane. You can order from the food/drinks menu online as well and they bring you your order without any fuss. I didn't personally feel that the VIP addition was better than the regular bowling and the only difference seemed to be that the divider between you and another group was less transparent. In VIP it felt vaguely cramped, too, so unless you really want your privacy, I wouldn't bother. Everything was clean and convenient. My only real criticism is that upon first walking in it was visually overwhelming (as it opens into an arcade) and not immediately clear where to go.
